Lower Barn guest accommodation is nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside, surrounded by lush green fields away from the tiresome noise of city life. We are situated on the Cornish rivieria - the south coast of Cornwall, near St Austell.
With tourism being Cornwalls' main industry you should never be short of things to do! We are more than happy to help with reccommendations and advice on fun days out.
Getting to Lower Barn B&B...
- Travelling by car from east of Exeter, it is easiest to use the A30 Trunk road to enter Cornwall.
- After Bodmin, turn left onto the A391 - signposted St Austell - at Innis Downs roundabout.
- Follow the A391 towards St Austell. The A391 joins the A390 at the bottom of a long hill.
- Turn right at the Traffic Lights. Continue along the A390, passing ASDA, and turn left at the double-roundabout onto the B3273 - signposted Mevagissey.
- After 4 miles, you will pass Pentewan Beach and Camp sight on your left. Continue up the Hill . At brow of the hill Turn Right , Sign posted Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Ewe, Follow this road for about 1 Mile, you will pass Heligan Camp site on your left, just after this there is a sharp left hand bend. Turn Right sign posted Pengrugla (Brown sign post LOWER BARN) Follow Bed signs for 1 mile we are on the right down the Lane. ( from pengrugla take the third turning on the right . )
- If you are coming to Lower Barn from the A390 Truro - St Austell by sat nave will take you to a Blue gate on your Left, go pasted this and the sign post on your Right to St Ewe, we are on that next right hand bend turn Left down that lane.
- Sign to Lower Barn (Bed & Breakfast).Take the 3rd turning right, also Brown signposted Lower Barn.

Onsite Parking
You'll find our entrance a short way up on the left-hand side! There's plenty of parking space.
